  • Attorney Welsh has successfully represented clients in a variety of matters before Connecticut’s administrative agencies, Superior Court, Appellate Court and the Connecticut Supreme Court.

  • Attorney Welsh has achieved the rank of a Connecticut Bar Association Board Certified Worker’s Compensation Specialist.

  • Early in his career, Attorney Welsh defended employers and insurance companies against worker’s compensation claims.

  • Now, his practice is primarily dedicated to advocating on behalf of injured Connecticut worker’s and their dependents.

  • Attorney Welsh represents both public and private sector employees, and has experience handling claims involving a variety injuries and medical conditions, including those developing over time, such as repetitive stress injuries.

  • Mr. Welsh has practiced in every Worker’s Compensation District in the State but presently concentrates his practice in the Districts of Hartford, New Britain, Middletown, New Haven and Norwich.

  • Attorney Welsh was named a Panel Attorney for the Professional Hockey Players Association (PHPA). As a result, Mr. Welsh also represents injured professional hockey players in the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation System.
